Which Toothbrush Should You Add To Your Wish List?
It’s December! Nautical Dental would like to wish everyone a happy holiday season. It’s a month of many multicultural holiday celebrations such as Ramadan, Fiesta of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Omisoka and many others. It’s a time when most choose to indulge on their favorite holiday treats like fruit cake, eggnog, Benne cakes, tamales, paneer fritter, fruit chaat, latkes or doughnuts. It’s wonderful to celebrate and indulge in your favorite holiday treats, but it’s important to ensure that you’re brushing your teeth with the correct toothbrush. Which toothbrush should you add to your holiday wish list?
Just as your wish list is very personal, so should your toothbrush be a personal choice.Toothbrushes come in so many shapes, sizes and styles. Just because your friend or family member found the perfect one for them, does not mean it will be right for you. While most dental professionals agree that a soft-bristled brush is best for removing plaque and debris from your teeth, the head size of the toothbrush may need adjusted according to the size of your mouth. Generally, staying with a small-headed brush is preferable because they can reach all of the areas of your mouth, including hard-to-reach back teeth.
Finding the right grip or design is totally up to your preference. Choose your favorite color, character and handle style. You use your toothbrush at least twice daily. Make your choice a pleasant one. You may want to consider a powered toothbrush as a good alternative. They can, at times, do a better job of cleaning. They can also help those who have limited manual dexterity.
At Nautical Dental, let us help you choose the right toothbrush for you.We care about every aspect of your dental health.
